Larry d. terry, od
Dr. Terry founded Box Elder Family Vision in 1985 upon finishing his Doctoral degree at the Southern California College of Optometry in the Los Angeles area.
Dr. Terry was raised in northern Utah and attended Weber State University. He graduated suma cum laude receiving high honors in the department of Zoology. He finished his undergraduate education with dual majors in Zoology and Optics. Dr. Terry also received minors in chemistry, microbiology and psychology. He was awarded high honors from Optometry school in the area of ocular disease. Dr. Terry is active in both church and community. |
He is a current member and past president of the Brigham City Kiwanis organization. The Kiwanis goal is to improve the lives of children locally as well as internationally. Dr. Terry served on the Board of Trustees for the Brigham City Community Hospital for several years and as chair of the board for 3 years.. He is married to Cheryl Terry and lives in Brigham City. Together they have four children and 6 grandchildren (last count!). Dr. Terry loves technology and is always looking for ways to improve upon patient care. He hopes your experiences in our office are memorable and pleasant. He enjoys getting to know each patient and as a result has made many life long friends.
CARRIE |
Carrie has been with the practice since 2010 and serves as Office Manager. She is a certified paraoptometric (CPO). Carrie has considerable experience in the optical arena. She is a guru when it comes to handling the complexities of insurance claims. She is also our HIPAA compliance officer. You will find her a delight to work with. Carrie provides professional business support for our office and is available to assist our patients with scheduling, registration and insurance/billing questions. She is dedicated to improving our patients' experience and will gladly assist you with all aspects of your visit. Her husband, Robbie, is the head football coach at Box Elder High School. Everyone will hear Carrie as she cheers for the Bees from the stands Should you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to talk to Carrie.

Shelly joined our practice in 2019. Shelly worked for years as an optician at Shopko prior to their closure. Shelly works as an assistant with Dr. Terry. She also is knowledgeable regarding frame selection and adjustment. Shelly is skilled with diagnostic instruments including visual field analysis, retinal photography and ocular coherence tomography used in evaluation of various diseases such as glaucoma and macular degeneration.

Sara joined our practice in 2019. Sara is our lead laboratory optician. She is knowledgeable regarding the fabrication and layout of lenses assuring the Rx is properly ground and placed in your eyewear. She also functions part time as an assistant for Dr. Terry. Sara is our first hire with native Spanish speaking capability. We're excited to have her on our team!

Kelliann joined our practice in 2019. She has a pleasant and upbeat personality. She is often found teaching new contact lens wearers all they need to know about contacts. Kelliann is instrumental in performing a variety of administrative tasks including patient recall.
